Boston Massacre Text Conversations
Students have been studying about authentic speech and how it helps to understand the time period in which something is written. With the popularity of texting now, students worked in pairs to create a texting conversation about the Boston Massacre. Students researched one of three groups: Revolutionary Spies, Shopkeeper, or Son of Liberty. Then, they paired with someone who had a differing viewpoint. The conversation shares the differing viewpoints on this controversial event.
